Synthesizer workshops and live performances: An electro-acoustic experience in Thuringia.

The world of music production is fascinating and diverse. However, for many newcomers to the electronic music scene, it can seem quite complex. However, in Thuringia there is a good opportunity to explore and understand this world - synthesizer workshops for beginners in music production, accompanied by impressive live performances by musicians from Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Bavaria.

EFA 2023 not only promised unique workshops and live performances, but also offered the opportunity to see some of the emerging talents and established artists live. In this blog article we will take a closer look at what made this event so special.

Synthesizer Workshops: The Path to Music Production

The workshops were the heart of this musical event. Here, beginners and professionals had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of music production with various synthesizers, samplers and drum machines. The workshops were led and organized by experienced musicians, producers, technicians and makers who shared their knowledge and passion for electronic music. Participants had the opportunity to gain practical experience, create synthetic sounds and research the fundamentals of electro-acoustics.

The participants were also able to use a new synthesizer from Marienberg Devices Germany try out, experiment and explore the secrets of sound generation. There will be more about this in a blog post in the coming weeks.

Live Performances: Regional Talents and Headliners

The event not only offered exciting workshops, but also an impressive line-up of musicians from Germany.

"Jack on RCA" and "Penishead" gave really cool performances. Unique soundscapes and energetic sounds were the highlight of the event. "Jack to RCA" impressed with experimental and expansive sounds, accompanied by live singing. "Penishead" Of course, he brought a good pinch of humor with him, which got the guests dancing to pulsating beats.

In addition to the headliners, many up-and-coming local talents also showed off their musical skills. The locals helped shed light on the region's underground scene and showed that the region's electronic synthesizer nerd scene is diverse, impressive and vibrant.

Of course we're talking about < span style="color: #374151;">SBZ from Dresden, HOCH-X from Jena , < span style="color: #374151;">Holy Spiritand Achim Deep.
