Music came into my life with a three-quarter guitar. I was just seven years old and a large guitar was still too big for my little hands. So I began to play my first notes on this incomplete piece of the stringed wooden body. What I didn't know back then was that the guitar would accompany me from now on through everything that came along. When I was 15, I decided to turn guitar lessons into piano lessons. At this time I also began to write my first songs, fill my PC with recordings from a small “pocket studio” and hit the streets of my hometown Erfurt with wild cover versions of well-known songs. When I moved to another city to study a few years later, music continued to accompany me, but less intensively. It took a few years until my fingers tickled again. And then I started writing my own songs - with a whole new energy. At some point I gathered my courage and dared to go on stage with my own songs. And here I am – PaulA with the capital A.
